City of Chandler - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Community Focus Group
In 2020, an HRC subcommittee conducted a diversity and inclusion survey and recommended that the City of Chandler engage a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultant to work with City departments and community stakeholders to identify best practices in recruitment and training, enrich educational events and educational forums, enhance media outreach regarding events and diversity efforts and evaluate the resources needed to accomplish the DEI roadmap. City Council approved their recommendation and directed a public process for the review and recommendation of a DEI policy as part of this scope.
CPS HR Consulting has been selected to assist the City in this DEI assessment. We are seeking 20-25 community members that can serve in a community focus group for the purpose of collecting input that builds upon the progress to date and identifies the needed changes in order to ever improve upon citizen satisfaction with City products and services.
